Ode to Snow

[photo credit the theory of life]

small and light

floating

weightless

suspended in the chilly air

the sky, grey

as if full of moisture

ready to explode

birthing it's crystaline creations

gently

onto the cold frozen earth below

blanketing the land

with it's friendly welcome to December

come play

come dance under my beauty

let me float around you

days of youth

spent as angels

dogsledders

olympic lougers

sweet memories

and new meomories to come

  2. I need to credit the photographer. I often just google for photos and forget about crediting. I think I just found my New Year resolution.

  9. SO I have lived with snow my whole life. It has not been until this year that I have fully enjoyed it. Every time it snows I get this rush of adrenaline; hard to explain. But it's been wonderful. Like the snow is showing me things I have never noticed or let go of before. The snow has brought new thoughts and light to my soul this year.

Thank you for the post. Always nice to reflect on personal things through words from another.
